Fishing in streams, rivers, and creeks is fun and fairly easy if you know where to fish and good techniques to present your bait to the fish. Different types of rivers contain different types of fish – knowing which species are likely around will help you choose the right bait/lure and the right presentation. This video offers tips and tricks for fishing in rivers, streams, and creeks including which baits to use, and many tips for fishing in flowing waters.
Did you know you can also support Fishing with Nat when shopping on Amazon? If you click on any Amazon link in one of my video descriptions and then purchase something (it doesn’t have to be the linked item or even be related to fishing), Amazon will donate 3% of the total purchase to support Fishing with Nat. The price that YOU pay is exactly the same whether Amazon takes 100% of the purchase or 97%. You could click on a link for a fishing lure and buy a golf club or a microwave oven – as long as you clicked my link first to get to Amazon, they will donate 3% of the order total to Fishing with Nat and there is no extra cost to you.

Getting into water just to illustrate the depth deserves a thumbs up.
Anytime I throw a bait it just drift back to the shore. Any tips or is the current just too strong?
Can you do bobber fishing in the river? How does that work with the current pulling the bobber and bait?
*Very new angler/fisher here
